Digital Twin Traffic Control Platform
MORAI has developed a 3D digital twin environment that precisely monitors real-time traffic flow and signal conditions in major urban areas of Seoul, including Sangam, Jongno, and Gangnam. This technology eliminates blind spots and shadow areas that commonly occur in traditional 2D traffic control systems.
Additionally, it enables real-time monitoring of V2X data from public transport vehicles and autonomous vehicles, intersection signal phases, and pedestrian movements. Related Article: Link
The Challenge
Cost Reduction

Enhanced Safety
Rapid response with real-time V2X data integration and accident prevention through precise monitoring
Time Efficiency
Improve accident response speed with real-time control and reduce travel time through optimized traffic flow
Why MORAI Digital Twin
01
V2X Data Integration
Real-time analysis of connected and autonomous vehicle location and driving information enables optimized traffic coordination and heightened situational awareness.
02
Signal System Monitoring
03
Pedestrian Safety Management
Proactive detection of crosswalk usage and high-density pedestrian zones mitigates collision risks and ensures safer walking environments.

Benefits
Digital twin technology integrated with C-ITS (Cooperative-Intelligent Transport Systems) optimizes real-time traffic data analysis, reduces congestion, and enhances road safety for efficient urban management.
By simulating vehicle, pedestrian, and signal flows, potential hazards are identified in advance, enabling proactive maintenance and strategic decision-making. This synergy fosters a smarter, safer, and more sustainable urban mobility framework.
