  • Demonstrates the security and reliability of its autonomous driving simulation software in AWS cloud environments

  • Strengthens collaboration with AWS to enhance cloud-based simulation capabilities

Seoul, March 6, 2025 – MORAI, a leading provider of autonomous driving simulation solutions, announced that it has achieved AWS Partner Software Path certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). MORAI successfully passed the AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR), a key validation process within the AWS Partner Network (APN), to obtain this certification.

The AWS Partner Path is a framework designed to accelerate partnerships with AWS across solution development, training, consulting, and professional services, supporting business growth. The AWS FTR ensures that a partner’s software, applications, and solutions meet AWS’s high standards for security, reliability, and operational excellence. This review evaluates various aspects such as data protection, cost optimization, service availability, and performance stability based on AWS best practices. Only solutions that successfully pass this rigorous assessment receive official AWS certification. Through this certification, MORAI has demonstrated that its autonomous driving simulation software is secure, reliable, scalable, and fully optimized for AWS cloud environments.

MORAI specializes in simulation and digital twin technology for validating next-generation mobility systems, including autonomous vehicles, urban air mobility (UAM), and unmanned ground vehicles. The company creates high-precision digital twin environments that replicate real-world conditions, enabling comprehensive virtual testing of perception, decision-making, and control processes for autonomous mobility. This allows researchers and developers to simulate various edge-case scenarios without real-world test driving, ensuring safety and performance validation.

MORAI’s simulation software also generates large-scale datasets for AI-driven autonomous driving systems. Collecting real-world data for edge cases such as adverse weather conditions or accident scenarios is challenging due to safety risks and physical limitations. By leveraging simulation, MORAI provides AI training datasets under diverse conditions, enabling developers to assess and refine autonomous driving algorithms across multiple environments. This contributes to the development of more precise and highly reliable autonomous systems.

MORAI has been collaborating with AWS to provide large-scale simulation test environments powered by AWS cloud infrastructure. By utilizing AWS’s scalability and high-performance computing capabilities, autonomous driving researchers can conduct simulation-based research faster and more efficiently.

JiWon Jung, CEO of MORAI, said, “Achieving the AWS Partner Software Path certification reaffirms the reliability of MORAI’s simulation platform at a global standard. Moving forward, we will further strengthen our collaboration with AWS to expand our cloud-based simulation capabilities and provide the most advanced virtual validation environment, supporting innovation and growth in the mobility industry.”
